About Luz

Luz is a graduate of the Swedish Institute of Health Sciences, where she earned her Associate degree in Occupational Studies in Massage Therapy. With a background in healthcare and patient care, she brings warmth, compassion, and an attentive presence to each session, helping clients feel comfortable, supported, and cared for.

Luz has trained directly with Anne Heckheimer, as well as through our Prenatal Massage & Movement Center’s Prenatal Massage Certification Program. She is passionate about supporting women through the physical and emotional changes of pregnancy and postpartum recovery, offering thoughtful care tailored to each client’s changing needs.

Her individualized approach draws from Swedish massage, myofascial release, therapeutic massage, trigger point therapy, and deep tissue techniques. Whether a client is seeking relief from tension or simply time to rest, Luz’s intention is to create a nurturing space to slow down, reconnect with the body, and feel supported throughout pregnancy and beyond.
